The Glass Guru of Amarillo, TX has had a transfer in ownership. Josh Hipskind completed Initial Franchise Training at The Glass Guru headquarters in Roseville, CA on October 5th, 2018. Josh comes to The Glass Guru with over 25 years of auto glass experience and is very excited to embark on a new career direction in the residential glass market. Josh is now at the helm of The Glass Guru of Amarillo, TX. He’s very enthusiastic about continuing to provide the residents of Amarillo a great source of glass information, products, and services that satisfy needs of the market. Josh looks forward to continuing to build upon the great team at the Amarillo franchise location. “I was looking for new roads into the glass business and (The Glass Guru) business model that was presented was on point! I am most excited about learning a new career path. During the franchise training process, the knowledge of every position in the operation was very impressive. I really do not have a lot of concerns about this new path of business ownership.”

Prior to the transfer, previous franchise owner Chase York announced that he’d be selling his interest in the franchise location in order for his wife to pursue a significant professional opportunity in the Dallas, TX market. This required the Yorks to move away from Amarillo. At that time, Chase had already begun negotiations with Josh to purchase the franchise location. We’re pleased to see that Chase is now considering another franchise opportunity with The Glass Guru in the Dallas, TX marketplace! It’s funny how once you get The Glass Guru “in your blood”, it’s hard to stay away!
