The Glass Guru has recently announced the addition of the glass franchise’s newest franchise location in Ohio. The Glass Guru of South Cincinnati is the company’s 6th franchise location in the state. Franchise owner Chris Samples and his sister Mary Samples attended The Glass Guru’s Initial Franchise Training at the company’s headquarters in Roseville, CA, completing their training on August 7th, 2020. Chris has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and spent time as a successful freight broker and account executive in the logistics sector. Business ownership was always of interest to him, and he was introduced to The Glass Guru by the owners of a neighboring Ohio franchise location.
I have always wanted to own a business of my own. My education and background is in business. I heard about The Glass Guru from the Mason, OH location. I liked everything they had to say so I contacted Dan (Company Founder & President) about opening my own franchise location. What ultimately led me to moving forward was meeting everyone at corporate during my Discovery Visit. Chris’s sister Mary was there all along to support him in the franchise discovery process. Mary has a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) and worked as both a medical and surgical nurse. Once Chris purchased the franchise, Mary seemed to fit the part and was offered the Office Coordinator position at his franchise. Both Chris and Mary are excited to embark on this new professional chapter, offering The Glass Guru’s diverse array of products and services in the Cincinnati community. “I am most excited about meeting and helping people with their glass needs.” says Mary Samples. Chris Samples echoes his sister’s sentiment, “What excites you the most about opening my own Glass Guru franchise? It’s the concept of helping people in my community make improvements and repairs to their homes and businesses. I am also excited about networking and meeting new people in my territory!” Both Chris and Mary expressed that The Glass Guru’s onboarding process was presented in a structured format so that it was clear what items you needed to accomplish prior to the launch of the franchise location. While the pair expressed common concerns and opening jitters, they both agreed that the communications from the corporate team was proactive, and that the learning materials provided to them during the onboarding and training process adequately prepared them for the launch of your franchise. Moving forward, Chris Samples sees big things for his franchise. He envisions the steady growth of his business and his team. “In two years I see my business steadily growing. I would like to be building another team and working my way out of estimating and into more of a business management role.” The Glass Guru organization has expressed a great degree of confidence in Chris Samples in awarding the franchise territory.
