Glass Shop’s Own Employee Opens Up a New Location for The Glass Guru

The Glass Guru Enterprises Inc. is excited to announce the launch of West Minneapolis. The official launch date for this new store location was March 14 Having a local glass shop feel with a national reputation is exactly what we strive for at The Glass Guru. We are excited to bring that culture to the West Minneapolis area. Peter Bateman is the owner of our new location and is excited to get out and help you with your glass needs. He comes from The Glass Guru in Duluth. Having a previous experience as a The Glass Guru employee makes this a special and exciting opening. Bateman’s familiarity to the company and business will bring a new set of confidence in him.  He gained an array of experience from working as the office coordinator, as a glazer then as an estimator. “I grew as much as I could, so I thought I could grow more and open my own store.” So that is exactly what Bateman did. Having someone who worked as an employee already and was so eager to open their own store is validating the hard work of everyone at The Glass Guru and the culture we have worked to help create at the local level. Having the background of almost every position at The Glass Guru, will give him a positive and unique perspective on running his own location.   With a college football background and the want to get out and help locals, we cannot wait to see where he takes his location.
