The Glass Guru is pleased to announce that franchise owners Tom Rowland and Tom Rowland, Sr. from The Glass Guru of Gurnee, IL have been named as Franchise Rockstars in the Family-Owned category by FBR.
Tom and Carley Rowland started their business in 2012 with Tom’s father, Tom Sr., serving as an advisor. As the organization’s youngest franchise owner, he generated $46,200 in total revenue that year. Still the youngest owner in 2019 , he achieved $663,456 in total revenue and is having a very strong 2020 so far. In 2018 Tom also won the company’s Model Store Award which was presented at the annual franchise convention in Las Vegas.
With dad at the financial helm, Tom Jr. was able to focus on operations and growing the business efficiently. This growth allowed Tom Jr. to spearhead the framework of today’s executive model and put his staff into roles that maximized their performance as a unit. That delineation of roles allowed Tom, his father, and Carley to grow their business in a way that has created raving fans of not only their business, but their family within the communities they serve.
The quality work this family and business has consistently provided has made them a sought-out employer. This reputation has allowed them to continue building their Glass Guru family by selecting top staff to represent the brand well. The notoriety and respect they have from the community and industry, within their territory, has forged a relationship and provided opportunity with acquiring a new employee who is helping them build a much anticipated and exciting commercial division. With Tom Sr., Carley, and a dedicated team of staff, the sky’s the limit for the Rowland’s and their Glass Guru family.”
