The Glass Guru Promotes New VP of Franchise Business Development

The Glass Guru Franchise recently announced the promotion of Mr. Rob Lopez to the position of Vice President of Franchise Business Development.  The promotion signifies the importance the work Lopez has done since coming aboard The Glass Guru franchisor team in 2015. His ongoing dedication to the success of each individual franchise location makes him well-suited to this new challenge. Lopez was born and raised in Cape May County, NJ, about 20 minutes south of Atlantic City. He was a member of the USAF Reserves for 12 years, serving as a mission Capabilities Specialist, and he  later cross-trained into the Judge Advocate General’s Corps of the USAF. Rob received a BA in Law and Justice, with a minor in Small Business Management from Rowan University.  In addition to his military service,  Lopez has also served in a diverse array of professional roles, including being a NJ Juvenile Probation Officer, State of NJ Investigator (Public Defender’s Office), USIS Private intelligence (Security Clearance Background Investigator), and a State of OH Civil Right Investigator.  Rob’s franchise journey began with the acquisition of his own ServiceMaster Clean franchise. For 8 years, Lopez grew a great team and infrastructure, and his business grew because of his forward thinking and leadership. Lopez served for two years on ServiceMaster Clean’s Regional Franchise Council. His franchise location was considered one of the organization’s high-performers, even as he was running his Florida-based franchise location as an absentee owner living in California for the last two years he owned the franchise. Rob resides in Roseville, CA with his wife Annette, and three kids Nathan (16), Alex (14), and Christian (10). His passions outside of work are his love of family and, of course, America’s pastime. He spends a significant amount of time coaching his boys, and other young men, in the art of baseball and the art of life. He’s involved in youth baseball programs at a very high level, serving as coach and mentor to over 30 kids in a competitive traveling youth baseball program.  When one observes Lopez speaking about the young athletes he coaches, it becomes  readily apparent that he takes his responsibility as a coach, guide, and mentor very, very seriously. His stewardship and guidance does not stop on the field, and Lopez strives to be a positive and motivational influence in their lives.  Rob’s innate abilities as a coach and mentor translate seamlessly into the role he plays with The Glass Guru. Lopez spends the bulk of his days speaking with franchise owners around business leadership, strategic thinking, and the execution of important local initiatives proven to fuel franchise growth and profitability. He’s uniquely skilled at getting business professionals to make important promises to themselves about growing their business. He then masterfully contracts with franchise owners as their dedicated business coach to help facilitate the realization of their own dreams.
